Vacation Again

Hmmm.... I still haven't quite gotten the hang of this.  It's only been nearly 3 weeks since I last posted something... and I'll be on vacation again next week.  This time a week long backpacking trip.  If I don't get eaten by bears, I promise to try and get this up and running.  Better.

Krugman on Moore

Paul Krugman wrote an article that was, I think, very good about Michael Moore's newest film. I think he hit it dead-on. He's not happy with everything in the film, but he understands the film's importance.

The Unofficial Paul Krugman Archive

While you're there, read some of his other articles.... like the one about how temporary GWB's "recovery" may be.

Ten Big Ones

I just finished Janet Evanovich's Ten Big Ones. Pretty much what you would expect, and certainly no big surprises. Of course, that is not why you read Evanovich. The characters are quirky and fun, and there was one part, that I was reading in the doctor's office, that nearly had me laughing out loud. A fun read, and not one that is going to take up too much of your time. Excellent light reading. Although I can't imagine that socially conservative people are going to like one of the minor characters (a good guy) is a cross-dressing punk rocker. But that only increases the value of the book for me.

First posting

Look, all dressed up an nowhere to go. I hope to Hell that I'm not the only one talking on here. That would be right up there with talking to myself on the bus. Although that always gets me a good seat free of someone sitting next to me.
